This work explores the world of big game hunting in the Indian jungle. The author, 'Silver Hackle', describes his experiences hunting tigers, bears, bisons, and panthers in the Mysore jungle over the period of twenty-five years.
Illustrated in-text throughout, with reproductions of the author's photographs, and photographs of heads mounted by Messrs. Van Ingen and Van Ingen, Taxidermists of Mysore.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with light marks to the cloth. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Gift inscription to the front paste down. Spots to the endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
