    The first edition, first impression of this account of the discovery and early exploration of Greenland, published by the commission for the direction of the geological and geographical investigation in Greenland. Volume I of three, complete in itself. The other two volumes were published after between 1928 and 1929. A scarce copy. With half title. Comprising fourteen articles by various contributors, including Louis Bobe, F H Trap, and C H Ostenfeld among others. 

    Dealing with early exploration of the land, scientific investigations, cartography, geography, physiology, climate, flora, fauna, and more. 

    Illustrated in text throughout. In the original publisher's wraps.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally sound with some chipping and vertical creasing as well as a touch of sunning to the spine, general soiling to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Illustrated in text throughout.
