An anthology of poetry containing works from students at Vanderbilt University, Nashville. This collection is comprised of the poetical works of members of The Calumet Club, a literary fraternity of Sigma Upsilon, along with contributions from four female students of the university.
Notably, the anthology contains six poems from American literary critic and professor, Cleanth Brooks, who was a student at Vanderbilt at the time of compilation.
With the ink inscription of Joe Webb Peoples, a geologist and emeritus professor at Wesleyan University, known for his creation of the Dinosaur State Park in Rocky Hill.

Bound in the publisher's bright boards. Externally, generally smart, with some wear to the backstrip, including a little loss to the head and tail. Tear to the front joint tail causing backstrip to lift a little. Light rubbing to the board extremities. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound with bright, clean pages.
