Translated by Edward Powys Mathers, an English translator, poet and compiler of cryptic crosswords for The Observer under the pseudonym "Torquemada" from 1926 until his death.
Condition
In the original full crushed morocco, with decorative tooling. Externally, smart, with rubbing to the extremities and minor fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with offsetting to the endpapers only.
