    First trade edition, originally privately printed in 1927. Second issue. A fascinating work detailing the natural history of Greek mythology, exploring a variety of creatures. With an introduction and chapters on mammals, birds, reptiles, sea-beasts, and creeping things, as well as a detailed bibliography and index to the rear. Written by George Norman Douglas, a British writer, noted for his novels and travel books.

    Condition

    In the original beige cloth. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities and minor fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with light age toning to the endpapers.
