    Description

    Scarce

    A 'rare dish of strange Kiplingana', this work deals with Kipling as a poet, including quotes from Kipling on the 'Yellow Peril'. 

    With the ownership bookplate of Oliver Brett, 3rd Viscount Esher, a peer and politician appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire in 1918 for his services during the war. 

    Illustrated with a portrait of Kipling.

    Presented in an excellent case. 

    Written and published by Gabriel Engel. 

    Condition

    In a full cloth binding. Externally very smart; just a touch bumped to the extremities and the head and tail of the spine. Ownership bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages have the odd mark.
