Katherine Mansfield was a New Zealand writer and critic who was an important and influential figure of the modernist movement. She was a master of the short story, who evolved a distinctive prose style with many overtones of poetry. 

Edited by John Middleton Murray, the second husband of Katherine Mansfield. Following her death, Murray edited Mansfield's work. 

Condition

In publisher's original cloth bindings. Externally, excellent. Shelf wear to extremities, most significant to the heads and tails of the spines. Light fading to spine of 1928 Volume I. Book plate to front paste down of The Scrapbook of Katherine Mansfield. Ink inscription to front free endpaper of Volume II. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with slight age toning. Light spotting to front and rear of The Scrapbook of Katherine Mansfield.
