An adventure travel novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, following a group of European tourists in 1895 as they travel to Egypt. The group are travelling up the Nile in a boat named the 'Korosko' when they are attacked and abducted. 

Doyle is best known for his creation of the popular detective Sherlock Holmes, though he also wrote works across many different genres.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart, with some minor marks to the boards and spine. A little bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, with a small bump to the rear board. Spots to the fore edge. Bookseller's label to the rear pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some spots.
