Illustrated with many photographs, including a frontispiece and thirty-two plates. Collated, complete.
Undated, dated from a copy held at the British Library.
Portraying the habits and wild life of the Golden Eagle, supported with the author's own observations and records of the bird through his travels across Scotland.
Written by C. W. R. Knight, a well-known British falconer and extensive author on falconry. He and his own Golden Eagle, Mr Ramshaw, appear frequently in the 1945 film 'I Know Where I'm Going!'.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. A couple minor marks to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with offsetting to the endpapers and occasional scattered spots.
