What Our Customers Say...
Description
Early Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper
The fourth impression of this work, complete in two volumes.

First published the year prior, this is a comprehensive guide to British upper-class social conduct in the early 20th century.
Drawing from her aristocratic background, Lady Troubridge offers detailed advice on various aspects of social life, including engagements, weddings, correspondence, dining, and travel.
Notably, the work was used as a reference for the 2002 film 'Gosford Park' to ensure historical accuracy in depicting 1930s British society.
