What Our Customers Say...
Description
Illustrated
An illustrated work in the publisher's original pictorial paper wraps.
The Bath Chronicle and Herald, a weekly newspaper now known as the Bath Chronicle, was a result of the merge between the Bath Herald and the Bath Chronicle in 1925.
This pictorial supplement for 1927 to 1928, published by the Bath Chronicle and Herald, contains 126 illustrations, mostly monochrome reproductions of photographs. Alongside the illustrations are descriptions of the architecture, shops, memorials, parks and gardens, with historical information about the city.
Included are photographs of 150th anniversary of the Bath and West Show, the opening of the Kingswood School extension by H. R. H. The Prince of Wales, and Lansdown Racecourse.
Condition
