Rudyard Kipling is best known for his novel 'The Jungle Book', however he was a prolific writer of poems, novels, and short stories. Being born in India inspired much of his work, and he went on to become one of the most popular writers of his time. Kipling became the Lord Rector of St Andrews University in 1922.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. A few light marks to the boards. Very light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Spots to the fore edge. Dust wrapper is a little edge worn, with a few small closed tears, and chips, heavier to the head of the spine. Wraps are age-toned with some light handling marks. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the occasional scattered spot.
