A limited edition work, with this copy being number 50 of 66 copies printed on hand-made paper, handsomely bound in the publisher's original full vellum.

Edited by G Thorn-Drury, this is a new limited edition of the 1656 poetry collection 'Parnassus Biceps', widely credited to Abraham Wright, a Church of England clergyman and author, best known for his theological works and this collection of poetry.

Frederick Etchells & Hugh Macdonald were a small publishers based in Kensington who mostly concentrated on reproductions of 17th century works, and were active from the 1924 to 1930.

Condition

In the publisher's original full vellum binding. Externally, vellum lightly age toned, with loss and fraying to cloth ties. Internally, firmly bound. Pages exceptionally clean and bright.
