Milne was a prolific author and is now best-remembered for his creation of Winnie-The-Pooh and his many friends. This set of best-selling works comprises of two poetry collections, 'Now We Are Six' and 'When We Were Very Young'. 'Now We are Six' contains thirty-five verses, eleven of which are accompanied by illustrations featuring Winnie-The-Pooh.
Illustrated by E H Shepard, a popular twentieth century illustrator whose pen and ink drawings were featured in all of Milne's works.

In the publisher's original cloth. Lacking the original dust wrapper. Externally very smart with slight fading to the spine, a very minor mark to the rear, a slight lean and very minimal rubbing to the extremities. Internally firmly bound with only slight strain between pp.20-1. Pages bright and clean pages with only the odd minor mark. Offsetting to the half title and last pages.
