What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Limited Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Signed, With Slipcase

The limited edition, first edition of this work, in the publisher's original slip case.

Number 324 of 440 signed copies, signed by O'Neill to the limitation leaf.

O’Neill's play reimagines the travels of Marco Polo, portraying him as a materialistic and shallow merchant rather than a heroic explorer.

It offers a critique of American capitalism and imperialism, contrasting Marco’s American and greedy worldview with the philosophical wisdom of Kublai Khan's court.

O'Neill received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1936 and was the only author to win the Pulitzer Prize four times.
