Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding with paper boards. Externally, very smart. Very slight rubbing and bumping to extremities. Slight discolouration to left side of spine label, with lower left corner slightly lifting, but holding firm, with a very minor closed tear. Slight offsetting to endpapers. Dust wrapper, a little worn. Loss to front panel, partially obscuring the title. The odd ship and loss to extremities, particularly to head and tail of spine. Slightly age toned with scattered spotting and slight soiling. Small inscription to front flap. The odd slight spot of damp staining to spine. Internally, firmly bound, aside from the frontispiece which has become disbound. Pages bright and clean, if slightly age toned with the odd spot, heavier to first and last few leaves and fore edge.
