In a lovely decorative cloth binding with gilt details. A rare to see decorative binding. 

This collection of essays was written by the noted Journalist and writer, Holbrook Jackson. The collection includes essays from various works from Jackson. The essays cover topics such as profanity, the beauty of woodfires, the nonsense works of Edward Lear, and more.

Condition

Bound in full decorative cloth. Externally lovely with only a slight lean. Author's bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound with bright pages and the odd spot. The odd page unopened.
