First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper
An undated work, dated from Jisc, first and only edition of this work. A charming song-book featuring lyrics by Cicely Mary Barker from Flower Fairies of the Autumn, popular collection of poems in Baker's 'Flower Fairy' series' with lovely illustrations of the fairies of wild and familiar autumn flowers. The music was written by Olive Linnel.
Illustrations in colour by the author, tipped in to accompany each poem. Collated, complete with twelve plates.
With the original unclipped dust wrapper.
Condition
In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding over paper covered boards featuring a lovely colourful illustration. The dust wrapper is unclipped and sound with minor shelf wear, lightly chipped to the head of the spine, few minor closed tears to the head of the spine and wraps, small loss to the rear wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Illustrated with twelve tipped in colour plates. Collated, complete.
