The first edition of this work in the publisher's original cloth binding with a paper spine label.

A collection of three important speeches by Fridtjof Nansen (1861-1930), the notable explorer, scientist, diplomat, and humanitarian. Nansen won the Nobel Peace Prize for his work with Russian refugees following the Russian Revolution.

The collection includes: 'Adventure' (1926), 'No More War' (1926) and 'Peace' (1922).

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart, with a little bumping to the upper corners of the boards. Paper spine label is lifting slightly. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with the odd spot to the first and last couple of pages, and to the fore edge, affecting the occasional page.
