In the original unclipped dust wrapper.
Two poems, written by Rudyard Kipling and Walter de la Mare, published for the benefit of the Student Welfare Scheme of St Andrews University, as the profits from this book went to the society.
Illustrated with sixteen plates, by Malcolm Patterson.
Rudyard Kipling is best known for his novel 'The Jungle Book', however he was a prolific writer of poems, novels, and short stories. Being born in India inspired much of his work, and he went on to become one of the most popular writers of his time. Kipling became the Lord Rector of St Andrews University in 1922.
Walter de la Mare was a British poet, best known for his children's works.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Spine and extremities of the boards are a little age-toned. A few light marks to the boards, a little heavier to the rear board. Dust wrapper is worn, wraps are detached from one another, with loss to the backstrip. Wraps are age-toned with some light spots, and some edge wear, resulting in chips, mostly to the head of the front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
