    First Edition, Illustrated

    The first edition of this work in the publisher's original cloth binding, with pictorial gilt to the front board. Ink inscription to the front paste down, dated 1952. In Ranching With Roosevelt, fellow rancher Lincoln Lang provides first-hand experience of the people and lifestyle of the Wild West in the 1880s, as well as his interactions with Theodore Roosevelt before he became President. A collection of anecdotes recounts the political, social, and environmental climate of the Dakota Badlands during Roosevelt’s brief ranching days. Illustrated throughout.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally smart, with light shelf wear to the extremities and to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for the odd spot to the first and last few pages.
