    First Edition, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding

    First edition. A little-known play following the life of Joan of Arc, a patron saint of France, honored as a defender of the French nation for her role in the siege of Orleans. Written by Frank Harris, an Irish-American editor, novelist, short story writer, journalist and publisher, who was friendly with many well-known figures of his day. Dated from the British Library.

    Condition

    In the original paper wraps. Externally, smart with minor wear to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Light sunning to the board edges. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Some of the text block remains unopened.
