A lesser known play by the renowned author D. H. Lawrence, following the early life of David, a king of ancient Israel and Judah, who was in the Old Testament.
Lawrence was a modernist author best known for his controversial 1928 novel 'Lady Chatterley's Lover'.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. Minor rubbing to the joints and extremities. A few light marks to the cloth. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with scattered spots to the first and last few pages.
