The first edition of this very scarce work.

Illustrated with twenty-seven photographic images. Collated, complete.

Fitzroy, a close friend of Sir Victor Sassoon and for a time the Private Secretary to Alice, Marchioness of Reading, offers an autobiographical work detailing the 1921-1924 Viceregal Tour.

With the inscription of Frances L Aldridge to the front pastedown.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with fading and damp staining to board heads and fore edges. Head of front joint starting, but firmly held. Inscription to front pastedown, author's inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright, with only the odd spot.
