    A very scarce large paper edition, complete in ten volumes.

    This set is number 221 of the American issue, out of 750 copies produced for the US, and 250 copies produced from the UK.

    A wonderful collection of the letters, poems, essays and lyrics of Rabbie Burns.

    With an introduction from John Buchan to volume I.

    Illustrated with twelve plates to volume I, eighteen to volume II, eight to volume III, thirteen to volume IV, eleven to volume V, seven to volume VI, seven to volume VII, five to volume VIII, five to volume IX, five to volume IX. This includes both a colour and a monochrome frontispiece to each volume.

    Collated, complete.

    In half crushed morocco signed bindings by the Riverside Press.

    Condition

    In half crushed morocco signed bindings, with cloth covered boards. Externally, fine. A touch of fading to back strips, as is common with navy morocco, otherwise externally fine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
