The Rifle Brigade Chronicle for the year 1924, being the thirty-fifth printing of this annual work. Scarce edition. Illustrated with a folding frontispiece and twelve images across eleven plates. Collated complete. A chronicle of the Rifle Brigade, an infantry rifle regiment of the British Army formed in January 1800 as the "Experimental Corps of Riflemen" to provide sharpshooters, scouts, and skirmishers. Offering a record of sports and pastimes, regimental records, weapons training events, notes and club notes, stories of the regiment, and obituaries, amongst other subjects. Compiled and edited by Major H. G. Parkyn, O.B.E.

Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, sound with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities resulting in small splits to the cloth at the board tips. The odd small mark to the boards with a 2" split in the cloth to the tail of the front joint. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or ink mark and annotation.
