The first edition, first impression of this public school poetry anthology. Containing poems by a variety of contributors including Norman Black, A. C. Frost, and R. G. McNair Scott. Most notably, it features John Betjeman's first published poem 'The Song of a Cold Wind'.

Condition

In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding over paper covered boards. Externally lovely with minor shelf wear, minor mark to front board. Previous ownership inscription to front free endpaper dated 1928. Internally, firmly bound. Minor light spotting to first and last few leaves, otherwise pages bright and clean.
