A collection of charming images of old inns from across Great Britain, such as: The George Inn in Salisbury, The King's Head in Chigwell, The Angel Inn in Woolhampton, The Star Inn in Alfriston, and The Mermain Inn in Rye. Written and illustrated by Cecil Aldin, a British artist and illustrator known for his paintings and sketches of animals and sports.

Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities and the odd mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with minor age toning to the extremities and endpapers. Bookseller's label to the rear pastedown.
