A five-volume collection of the pocket-edition of Anthony Hope’s most celebrated works in a compact.

This collection consists of:

The Prisoner of Zenda. Hope’s most famous work, a swashbuckling tale of political intrigue, mistaken identity, and daring romance in the fictional kingdom of Ruritania.

The Heart of Princess Osra. This volume contains linked short stories set earlier in the same fictional Ruritanian world, focused on the romantic escapades of Princess Osra.

Phroso: A Romance. An adventure novel set on a remote Mediterranean island, blending danger with romance.

Simon Dale. A historical romance with politics and intrigue during the reign of Charles II in 17th-century England.

The Dolly Dialogues. A witty series of sketches and conversations capturing London society life.

Anthony Hope (1863–1933) was an English novelist and barrister; his 1894 novel The Prisoner of Zenda became a bestseller and defined the “Ruritanian romance” genre.
