This edition comprising a selection of strips originally published in La Semaine de Suzette. 

In the publisher's quarter cloth binding with pictorial paper covered boards. 

This charming French comic strip is one of the most enduring of all time, with its heroine (Becassine) widely considered one of the first female protagonists in the history of French comics. 

The stories follow Becassine, a young Breton housemaid, with the text written by Caumery (pseudonym of Maurice Langeureau) and illustrations by J. Pinchon.

Condition

In the original quarter cloth, with pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with the odd spot or mark.
