An autobiographical work by Colonel J.C.B Statham, a British soldier and writer. The work depicts his account of his trip from Mossamedes on the Atlantic coast of Africa to Victoria falls with his wife.

Condition

In publisher's original green cloth binding. Externally, smart. Odd mark to boards, most significant to the front. Fading to spine with light bumping to the head and tail. Previous owner's book plate and ink inscription to front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the odd spot, most frequent to the front and rear. Spotting to fore edge.
