A detailed historical study of the plague in London during 1665, with remarks on: the first signs of plague, outbreaks, plague in the city, town and countryside, the peak of the curve, the decline, and the Oxford parliament. Written by Walter George Bell, a British writer and historian.

Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light bumping to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Minor fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with scattered spotting. Minor age toning to the endpapers with a contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper.
