    Fine Binding, Illustrated, Leather Binding

    An illustrated edition of The Dramatic Works of Richard Brinsley Sheridan, in full calf with gilt decoration to the spine.

    Bound by Bickers and Son (binder's ink stamp to front free endpaper).

    With fifteen illustrations. 

    With an introduction by Joseph Knight. 

    Contains a prize bookplate to the front paste down.


    Condition

    In full calf with gilt decoration to the spine. Externally, very smart with the odd mark to the boards. Very slight rubbing to spine head and tail and joints. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright if slightly age toned with spotting only to the first and last few. Marbled fore edge and endpapers. Contains a prize bookplate to the front paste down.
