    A very scarce variant, printed on handmade paper and bound in quarter vellum. With 'Out of Series' written in place of a number on the limitation page.

    Published by The Nonesuch Press.

    The collected works of English playwright and army officer, William Wycherley, who was best known for his popular plays 'The Country Wife' and 'The Plain Dealer', both of which appear in this collection.

    Including 'Love in a Wood', 'The Gentleman Dancing-Master', 'The Country Wife', 'The Plain Dealer', 'Hero and Leander', as well as miscellaneous poems and letters.

    Condition

    Bound in quarter vellum with paper-covered boards. Externally, very smart, with rubbing to the extremities and the odd mark. Discolouration to the vellum, as is common with this binding. Small hole to the rear joint of volume III. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
