An adventure novel following Chrisholm 'Sard' Harker, as he travels to Santa Barbara, falling into a number of escapades, including being assaulted and mugged, and injured by a stingray.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Very light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Spots to the fore edge. Bookplate to the front paste down. Dust wrapper is a little edge worn, with small chips and closed tears, including a chip to the publisher's imprint to the spine. Light handling marks and age-toning to the wraps, and some spots to the reverse. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with the occasional spot.
