The limited edition, being number 361 out of five hundred copies. 

Previously owned by Ambrose Heal with his signature to the front pastedown. Heal was an English furniture designer, best known for being the chairman of Heal's (Heal & Son), the British furniture company. 

Illustrated with monochrome vignettes and sixty monochrome collotype plates. Collated, complete. 

Also includes the very scarce original advertisement for this work. 

A detailed study on the life and work of Ernest Gimson, a noted English furniture designer and architect. The work is written by a selection of Gimson's friends and fellow workers, celebrating his life after his death in 1919. 

In the publisher's original cloth, with the scarce original dust wrapper.

Condition

In the publisher's original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally excellent with only a slight lean. The wrap is adhered to a protective backing, with loss to the spine, and edge wear. The odd spot and light offsetting, with 'Ambrose Heal' signature to the front free endpaper. Internally firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
