In the publisher's original red cloth bindings. With a colour illustration to the front board of 'Fox-Hunter's Anthology'.

'Hold Hard! Hounds, Please! A Discourse on the Fox-Hound in Field Covert and Kennel; with Hunting Yarns, Character Sketches from Life, and Some Notes on Breeding and Kennel Treatment by “Yoi-Over” (1924)

With a frontispiece and four monochrome plates. Collated, complete.

Condition

In the original cloth bindings. Externally, very smart. With light bumping to the extremities and marks to the boards. Fading to the spines of all except for 'Hunting, Showing and Chasing'. Internally, generally firmly bound. With the plate facing page 142 to 'Hold Hard!' loose but present. Pages are generally bright and clean, with scattered spots to 'Hold Hard!' and 'Hunting, Showing and Chasing'. Contemporary ink inscriptions to the front endpapers of all.
