A pair of works from Blackie and Son's Beautiful England series, being 'Rambles in Greater London' and 'Through London's Highways'.
In the original cloth bindings.
Providing descriptive guides to London's prominent landmarks, buildings, streets and landscapes.
Both volumes are beautifully illustrated with watercolours by Ernest Haslehust, with each work collated and complete with twelve colour plates.
With text by Walter Jerrold, an English writer, biographer and newspaper editor.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally, smart, with discolouration to the spines and bumping to the extremities. A few minor marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with offsetting to the endpapers and occasional spots.
