This copy covers Shakespeare's portraiture, the compilation and publication process, historical significance and impact of the Folio on literature, criticism, and publishing.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities, resulting in minor loss to cloth. Slight rubbing and scattered spotting to boards with one or two slight handling marks. Bookplate from "Wigan Free Public Library" to front paste down. Slight offsetting to endpapers, with the odd spot. Library stamp to copyright page. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean if slightly age toned with the odd minor spot and handling marks, heavier to fore edge and first and last few leaves.
