Second edition. Published the same year as the first. A previously abandoned novel by English writer, Jane Austen, following Mr. Watson, a widower and clergyman with two sons and four daughters. His youngest daughter, Emma, has been brought up by her wealthy aunt but is returned home after a foolish second marriage by the aunt. Written by Jane Austen, here completed by L. Oulton, a British author. With a preface by James Edward Austen-Leigh, Jane Austen's nephew. Publisher's advertisements to the rear.

Condition

In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot.
