The text is based on the collation of the early editions by R. W. Chapman.
Uniformly bound in half calf by Bayntun Riviere.
Including popular novels Sense and Sensibility; Pride and Prejudice; Mansfield Park; Emma; Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. The latter two novels are bound together in a single volume.
Illustrated with beautiful chromo-collotype frontispieces and thirty-seven further full page plates - some folding - as well as illustrations in text.

Condition
In half calf signed bindings by Bayntun Riviere, with cloth covered boards. Boards bright, with back strips significantly age toned. Significant losses of calf to tail of back strips of Sense and Pride, with further losses of calf to back strip heads of Northanger and Sense. Joints starting, with Sense, Northanger and Mansfield boards somewhat tenderly held, and remaining boards just a touch strained. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
