The Most Pleasant and Delectable Tale of the Marriage of Cupid and Psyche is an excerpt from it from the Latin of Lucius Apuleius's 2nd century AD "Metamorphoses", better known by its English title "The Golden Ass". In the publisher's original paper binding with the original publisher's slipcase. Externally, in very smart. The odd spot on the boards. Slipcase is generally smart with slight shelf wear, browning and bumping to extremities. Splitting to lower extremity of slipcase. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean, with the odd spot heavier to the first and last leaves.
