What Our Customers Say...

Description

Leather Binding

Premiered in 1900, this six act play by Edmond Rostand is based on the life of Napoleon II, the son of Emperor Napoleon I and his second wife Empress Marie Louise. The title, The Eaglet, stems from a nickname for the younger Napoleon. Published in French. The French poet and dramatist's play was premiered in 1900 by Sarah Bernhardt at her own theatre.

Condition

In a quarter cloth binding over patterned boards. Externally, smart. Very lightly rubbed to the boards, with a small chip in the paper to the front board. A little bumped and worn to the extremities.
