A charming work of natural history containing a series of articles originally contributed to a variety of journals, each concerning sport and natural history off high hills. With chapters on stalking, fishing, observations on animal behaviour, and more. Written by Sir Hugh Fraser, a British writer and regular contributor of sport and natural history articles to various periodicals. Featuring illustrations by the following artists: Finlay Mckinnon, V R Balfour-Browne and Frank Wallace.

Condition

In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or tide mark. Light spotting and minor age toning to the endpapers.
