    First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

    The 1921 French silent film 'Le Jockey Disparu', directed by Jacques Riven and starring Constant Rémy, Louise Colliney, and François Angely, was released in the UK as 'Winning a Bride' and in the US as 'Winning a Wife'.

    This folding advertisement offers still images from the film, alongside a synopsis of the plot, and a number of complimentary contemporary trade reviews.

    A thrilling film featuring 'two good races', and 'views of largest French racecourse'.

    Condition

    A single folding leaf. Very smart, with faint handling marks to leaf perimeters. Otherwise, clean and bright.
