A detailed and comprehensive geological history of the Isle of Wight, with chapters on the rocks and their story, the structure of the island, the chalk, the Oligocene, the Ice Age, and more. Written by Reverend J. Cecil Hughes, a British geologist. Illustrated by Maud Neal.

Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Light spotting and minor age toning to the endpapers.
