John Masefield was the former poet laureate of the U.K., serving from 1930 to 1967. Alongside his incredibly successful career as a poet, Masefield was wrote a series of highly received children's works. Illustrated by Judith Masefield. A lovely example of this work, in the publisher's original quarter cloth binding.
