This is the second edition of the work, which was first published in 1921.

Bound in the publisher's original smart, green cloth.

Written by famed American tennis player William T. Tilden, known as "Big Bill", who was the world No. 1 amateur between 1920 and 1925. Tilden was the first American player to win the men's title at Wimbledon, in 1920.

This work presents the art of lawn tennis, with information on tennis techniques, the laws of tennis psychology, modern tennis and some sidelights on famous players.

With fifteen photographic depictions throughout.

With a stamp of T. W. Burnett to the front endpaper.

Condition

In the publisher's original green cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with light bumping to the extremities and the odd mark to the cloth. Spine has darkened slightly, but otherwise cloth is bright. Rear hinge is strained but holding firm. Stamp of previous owner to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
