A beautifully bound order of service for a dedication of a memorial window presented by Sir Charles Cheers Wakefield at St Mildred and St Margaret Moyses in Bread Street. The work provides a depiction of the window, the order of service, a roll of honour for the inhabitants and workers of Bread Street Ward which died in the First World War, and a series of newspaper clippings about the dedication adhered to the rear.
Condition
Bound in full contemporary crushed morocco. Externally lovely with very minimal edge wear. Binder's stamp to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound with age toned pages with spotting throughout. Bookseller's label to the front blank. Relevant newspaper clippings neatly adhered to the rear blanks.
