First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

A very scarce work offering synopses of seven silent films produced in America in the late 1910s.

Many of these films, such as 'The Scar' (1919), 'The Oakdale Affair' (1919), 'Three Green Eyes' (1919), 'The Purple Lily' (1918), 'His Father's Wife' (1919), and 'The Red Woman' (1917) are lost films.

Also advertised is the surviving 1916 film 'Heart of a Hero'.

A synopsis of the plot, and a cast list, of each of these films is provided, alongside brief references to other silent films due for release in late 1922 such as 'Leave it to Mary' and 'True Heart Susie'.

Condition

In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally, smart. Wraps a touch age toned to perimeters. Internally, disbound. Pages clean and bright.
